Research

Now here’s where most creators go wrong

They validate demand, and then immediately start posting based on instinct

But markets already have:

  • Established voices

  • Familiar styles

  • And ICPs that are being actively spoken to

So ask yourself these questions:

You aren’t trying to copy anyone here, you’re mapping the landscape

This research sets you up perfectly for step 3….

Position

Now that you’ve:

  1. Validated market demand…

  2. Researched how it’s currently being served…

There is only one question to ask here:

What gap in the market can you uniquely fill?

It might be:

  • A group of people no one is clearly speaking to

  • A perspective that’s missing

  • Or a way of explaining things that finally makes sense

Your ICP lives inside that gap
