start by picking a niche and sticking to it

this is where brand associations come in

it’s what comes to mind when someone sees your color palette, fonts, or content style

Why it works:

  • Familiarity: The audience immediately recognizes your content in the first 3 seconds

  • Mood Association: Colors, fonts, and designs make people feel certain emotions. In this case, playful colors like bright pink and yellow signal to the viewer that it’s light-hearted, fun, and positive

Step #3 Format Optimization

having a go-to format is the real secret behind repeatable, high-engagement content

optimize these aspects of your content format:

  • hook

  • music choice

  • editing style

take a look at @simonsquibb who goes around asking people what their dream is

this video got over 35M views

and this one that got over 45M views

Why it works:

  • Constants: These repeatable elements in your videos make your content instantly recognizable

  • Hooks: A viral hook format gives viewers a clear reason to stop scrolling and engage every time
