Read Time: 1 Minute 43 Seconds

Hey — Thomas here.

In today’s edition:

  • 5 easy strategies to find more inspiration.

  • How to turn everyday moments into engaging content.

  • The tools top creators use to stay inspired.

Have you ever sat down to create content and thought,

“I have no idea what to post today?”

We’ve been there.

But over the years, we’ve developed a system for finding content ideas:

  • that are easy to create

  • that resonate with our audiences

Today, we’re sharing actionable strategies you can use to never run out of content ideas again.

1. Use AI to brainstorm

ChatGPT can help you generate content ideas so much faster.

And it’s super simple.

But to make sure you don’t get generalized, unhelpful answers,

All you need is to help it learn exactly what you need from it.

How to Use AI Effectively:

Step 1: Define who the AI is:

  • “You are a content consultant who specializes in giving me short-form video ideas.”

  • List all of your metrics and audience demographics.

Step 2: Ask for tailored ideas:

  • “Give me 10 Instagram reel ideas for creators in the entrepreneurship space.”

  • “What are 10 video concepts my audience would need to know?”

  • “What are some small, actionable solutions that can solve problems my audience faces?”

If you can spend 10 minutes doing this during your brainstorming sessions,

AI will kick-start your creativity,

and your productivity will 10x.

2. Solve Real Problems

The best content solves real problems.

Here’s where you can identify what your target audience is asking for.

AnswerThePublic:

  • Use this tool to find the most common questions and topics your audience is actively searching online.

  • Select the topics that your brand is positioned to solve best.

Poll your Audience:

No need to wonder what your audience is interested in learning.

Just ask them!

Prepare a simple Instagram story poll with potential video ideas.

And see which ones your audience is looking forward to.

Here’s a poll that I ran before to see what my audience wants to learn.

Your DMs & Comments:

  • What are people asking you?

  • You can also DM new followers to ask why they decided to hit the follow button.

Repeated questions signal demand that you can capitalize on.

Reddit:

Discover questions in your niche.

  1. Search up a relevant subreddit according to your niche

  2. Scroll for keywords that could signal problems your audience is facing.

3. Draw from Your Life

Share your struggles.

Why?

We all face challenges, and your audience likely does too.

Sharing yours helps connect with them.

Think of a recent challenge, for example:

“Last month, our brand launch failed, we lost $$, but here’s what we did to make it all back”

Instead of overthinking, share what you’re working on—

  • new projects

  • challenges you’re facing

  • progress you’ve made

Keep it real.

Your audience appreciates the glimpses behind the scenes

This helps humanize yourself to your viewers.

So what should you speak about?

Jot down:

  • moments

  • funny experiences

  • lessons that you learn

These small insights can be great content later.

Remember, you’re building a brand, but you’re also a person.

4. Study What’s Already Working

You don’t need to reinvent the wheel.

Here’s what you’ll do instead:

Step 1: Analyze the Top Creators in Your Niche

Find all the top creators who are making the kind of content you see yourself making.

Step 2: Research

Find the posts that are getting the most views or engagement.

Step 3: Look for Patterns

Identify any repeated trends across these top creators and try to find the common denominators.

  • Are personal stories outperforming tutorials?

  • Are shorter videos getting more traction than long ones?

  • Are iPhone videos doing better than cinematic videos?

Once you find the core strategies that seem to be doing other creators well,

use that as inspiration,

then add your unique twist so that your content fits your brand.

5. Review the Creator Branding Guide

A little reiteration of branding fundamentals always helps.

Nothing beats a little guided thinking.
