Hey — Ryan To here.
In today’s edition we’ll be covering:
How to consistently go viral (for the right reasons)
The virality formula I use for millions of views
+ 3 real-life examples
Virality isn’t luck…
Despite what most creators might tell you it’s calculated
And there’s a very specific formula I use to do it again and again
And you can take it from my results for myself and others:

But please.. only go viral for the right reasons
So before I give you a masterclass in Virality
DON’T waste time chasing views if it’s irrelevant to your business or niche
With great power comes great responsibility…
Okay here’s how it works:
Algorithm Hack + Emotional Triggers + Audience Segmentation

Hierarchy: Shares > Comments > Likes
Here’s why:
Shares = Highest Signal of Value
Comments = Emotional Response
Emotional Response = Engagement
So let’s go into the deepest layer how to create emotion…
Emotional Triggers
People share things because of 3 key emotions:
(1) Excitement, (2) Amusement, and (3) Anger
Here’s real-life examples from @pickem.store:
Excitement
Amusement
Anger
Audience Segmentation
The algorithm scans every single visual and audio in every video posted
Every word is being perceived to match words into the user data profiles that resonate with it the most
Meaning it can tell when a word is trending
Like the great lock in with over 10.1k videos tagged in a couple weeks
Or the performative male trend dominating everyone’s feed
Or even clanker with over 24.3k videos tagged

Behind the Scenes
P.S. Preparing for our biggest launch yet, can’t wait to fill Creatorverse in on what we’ve been building in SF 🌉
